Pediatric physical therapy focuses on helping children reach their maximum potential for functional independence through examination, evaluation and implementation of treatments using a wide variety of intervention and supports. Pediatric physical therapists are trained in the treatment and management of conditions of infants, children, and adolescents with a variety of congenital, developmental, neuromuscular, skeletal, or acquired disorders and injuries.
